Belly Fat Wars: Volume 1


How to lose Belly Fat? This is a question that is searched on Google 15,000,000 times per day. This stat has prompted me to do some research on the topic and see if I can shed some light on the subject.
Losing belly fat is on the minds of many Americans these days. With summer just starting, we all want to head to the nearest beach or pool to enjoy the sun. The problem is that the majority of us are too ashamed of our belly to do so.
We go on fast belly fat diets, binge and then purge ourselves. It is exhausting the torture that we are willing to go through in order to lose that spare tire.
Here are some tips that I have found to be helpful in the war on belly fat:
• Mind Set is Key. If you rush into a diet or a workout program you are likely to burnout and eventually go back to your old habits. Easy does it, is the mentality to have when approaching a belly fat burning diet. This is a lifestyle change. After all, your lifestyle is what got you the belly fat in the first place.
• Planning will Prevent Failure. Take time to plan your weekly meals, snacks and so on. Its goal setting 101. Have a plan of attack before you go to the grocery store and don't forget to eat as well. This will prevent you from the impulse buying that we all experience when shopping and we all know the consequences of grocery shopping while hungry.
• Soda is the Devil(especially diet). Most of us that are starting diets will switch our drink of choice to the diet alternative. This is an especially bad decision people make when trying to lose belly fat. Aspartame(the stuff that makes diet drinks sweet) has addictive qualities and will also trick your brain into craving more sweets. So how do we quench the craving for more sweets? With another sodium loaded diet drink or in most cases a pint of ice cream.
Just remember that having the right mind set is crucial to your success. This is a lifestyle change and not an overnight fix.
Stay organized! Plan your weeks and days. This will help protect you from impulse decisions and fast food rendezvous.
Stay away from soda(especially diet). These drinks are the fast track to an aggravated sweet tooth.
