My Quest to Find the One Thing That Really WORKS to Lose Weight and Get Fit
If you're like me, you've probably tried all kinds of things to lose weight and be more active in hopes of finding that one thing that WORKS. I've tried them all running, aerobics, dancing, weight lifting and more things than I can list here. You name it and I've probably tried it!
Then It Hit Me Like a TON of BRICKS
Then I found this little techno gadget, Fitbit Ultra, that has changed everything. With its help, I discovered that you don't need to keep searching for that one thing that WORKS to help you lose weight, you just need to be ACTIVE doing anything to burn off the calories you put in your body.
At Last, I Figured it Out!
I just had to make sure that my input (food) was output (burned up) with daily activities. With the push of a button on the Fitbit Tracker and its real time display of my activity information and calories burned, it makes it easier to do just that.
For example, you can set a calorie goal per day to lose a couple of pounds a week. If at dinner, the Fitbit says you do not have enough calories burned to eat what you want, you have two options.
1.) Go do more exercise such as, take the dog for a walk, climb some stairs or go for a swim or just do anything active so you can eat the meal you want
or
2.) You can just eat a lighter meal.
Without this device, I wouldn't have had this information and I would have probably just eaten what I wanted (overeaten) without doing any extra activity. I would have been blindly going on making poor decisions. What a benefit this little device has been to my overall health! I won't have to go on another one of those MAGIC BULLET diets or exercise programs again. With this gadget, I know exactly what to do.
What Else Can the Fitbit Trackers Do
This device has a lot of other nice features as well. It has smart phone applications, reports, graphs, and charts to monitor your progress. You also get motivational messages, badges you can earn for completing goals, you can compete with others, and you can get support on their social community. It even measures your quality of sleep which is also very important for your overall health and well being.
Conclusion
In conclusion, this little device has proven to me that I don't need a MAGIC BULLET to be fit and healthy. I also don't need to try anything else to lose weight and get fit. I just really need to make sure that my activity level matches my food choices. With the Fitbit, it gives me the information I need to stay healthy and lose weight.
